Production Information
Finnish American Rag Rugs is almost rag rug culture and the role of rag weaving in Finnish America. Tremendous read!
This book is not just well researched and documented, it is also hard to put down in one case yous start reading. In that location is a great amount of history of non only carpeting weaving, but of the Finns living in the Slap-up Lakes area. The photos of weavers, looms and carpets gave color and personality. My Finnish grandmother allowed me to "aid" when she would have her loom upward and running, and she also taught me to make braided rugs. This book non simply brought me back dwelling house to fine memories, only updated my information on weavers, looms and diverse designs. Thank you for such a not bad volume, an heirloom in itself.
